Since I’ve been getting complaints about The Wolf-Mate Trials’ release date displaying as a year away on Amazon, I figured I’d update you all here to make sure you know that it will actually release in the spring. I’ll be starting it in about 3 weeks.
With the release of the third Vampire Heirs World series, I thought I’d drop in to give a little more information about what to expect and what to look forward to.
For those of you who haven’t read more than one of the series, the first thing you should know is that there will be some similarities. The premise across the Vampire Heirs World is about dhampirs finding their coven of vampires to help them survive a world that is out to get them. While each book has their own cast of characters, they will eventually interconnect farther along in the series.
Another thing to expect: More series! That’s right. I have 2 more additions to the Vampire Heirs World. You do NOT need to read one series to enjoy another. You can expect to dive deeper into the Blood Rebel like to meet the rest of the Daring Brothers from Blood Vows and see exactly what role they play in rebel lands.
Did you love Blood Match? The good news is that I do have more books planned in that series with Jewel and her guys.
That’s about it for now. Thank you all for your constant support! <3
With the sixth book in The Divine Vampire Heirs series being released, I’ve been getting quite a few questions such as what about Orlando, is this it, will there be more books? I’m aware of the divide between those of you who love and those of you who didn’t necessarily like Orlando. I know I put you through an emotional roller coaster, but it was necessary for the entire Vampire Heirs World.
Wait, what? What do you mean the entire Vampire Heirs World?
This post is sort of my unofficial announcement of more books in this world, including books with the Royales (Rebel Vampires is next!), the Mercy Coven, and the Daring Brothers. I have also planned quite a few more books for the Divines beyond the six released, but not for a few months.
Creatively, I need a small break from Jewel and her guys, which is why I left Blood Vows with a happy for now ending with a few things still up in the air, such as Orlando. While the main story arc is complete for the six books, I do have more stories coming. It is such a rich world, and who doesn’t want to see the guys handle raising Jade? I know I do. You just have to hang tight.
Thank you SO MUCH for all of your support and enthusiasm. You all are the best.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me.
I recently had a reader express their desire to for more books in the Spark of Life world now that the series is complete. I wanted to let you all in on a little news and what’s to come from the mermaid world I love, love, love to write in.
Announcement number one:
Just because the Spark of Life series is complete, doesn’t mean I’m through the the world of mermaids I created. I’m currently writing a spinoff series featuring Princess Luna and her new adventures on land, titled the Call of the Ocean series (summer 2018!). You’ll get to experience the lavish life on land in La Tortuga Point, get to hang out with old friends, including Ava and Carter, and also meet Ryan Reyes, the cute free diver who catches Luna’s attention.
Announcement number two:
I plan on writing at least two more stories featuring Ava and Carter, but they’ll be novella length. You can expect all the sweet romance you love from the Spark of Life series as they progress in their relationship and make things official on land.
Announcement number three:
I wanted to confirm that there will be a Spark of Life, the Next Generation series, coming to you in 2019. I can’t go into any details yet, but if you love the original series, you’ll love what’s to come.
Announcement number four:
As most of you know, I’m serializing a retelling of Diving Under from Carter’s perspective. Currently, you can read the chapters I post each month on the Exclusive Access tab on my website for free (if you subscribe to my newsletter or join my FB group) until the story is complete. Upon completion, I’ll offer it on Amazon either at the end of the year or the beginning of the next if you want a full copy. Depending on reader interest, I’m willing to continue the entire series from Carter’s perspective. So, if you like what you read, let me know!
That’s about it for now. I hope you’re as excited as I am about what’s to come.
I’m super stoked to finally be able to share with you the cover of Treading Water, the second book in the Spark of Life series. This book was so much fun to write, exploring the mermaid world Ava Adair dove into in Diving Under.
So without further ado, the cover for Treading Water…
COMING AUGUST 29, 2017
After being transformed into a mermaid by the irresistible Carter Stevens, Ava Adair finds herself submerged deep in the sea without the ability to return to land. She trades a beachfront condo with her best friend and future plans to go to college for a life where her sole purpose revolves around Carter and the mermaid traditions she wants nothing to do with.
Fitting in with other mermaids is the last thing Ava wants, and after refusing to go through the coupling ceremony with Carter, Ava falls under the scrutiny of the colony’s mighty king, who would wipe out towns to keep his kingdom safe. When the king threatens not only her relationship with Carter but also the chance of reuniting with her family, Ava must figure out how to escape from the ocean and the king’s rule or never see the beloved shores of her home again.
Isn’t it so cool? I just love it!
You can pre-order Treading Water now so you can get it the second it releases.
I posted this bonus scene a few months ago in one of my newsletters and thought I’d post it to my blog as well. The scene is from a day in the life of Cadence while she was busy hunting with Cami during the time between Crushed and Haunted. Be warned, it contains spoilers for Crushed, so do not read if you haven’t read Tainted or Crushed.
Since the scene is six pages long, I’ve included it as a PDF. Enjoy!
This message between Nora and Eli was inspired by a scene from If This Was a Movie where Eli asks Nora on a date. I hope you enjoy it!
I’m so excited to share the cover of my next YA Contemporary novel, Life After Lila, which releases on July 25, 2017. I hope you love it as much as I do!
After a fatal car accident leaves seventeen-year-old Coco Caraway covered in scars and kills her best friend, Lila Olivier, Coco struggles with depression and anxiety. She spends her days hiding behind a mask of makeup and layers of clothing, treating each day like another one toward her last. Because life without her best friend is a life she doesn’t want to live.
The arrival of Xander Romano, a new boy at school more scarred than she is, forces Coco out of her isolation when she stands up to school bullies harassing him. Her action sparks a friendship with Xander that Coco had no idea she wanted—or needed. He reminds her of Lila, and through him, she reflects on her life before and after the accident, trying to make sense of living a future without her best friend.
Despite the happy moments Coco finds with Xander, her strained relationships with her shallow mother, overworked father, and meddling, overprotective twin brother weigh heavy on her, and Coco can’t seem to hang on. Giving up on life seems a lot easier. As Coco’s world spins out of control and her home life nearly breaks her, she must decide what’s important in life and if she’s willing to live for it.
